In October I had the opportunity to partake in a Faithworks Mission trip to a Mexican Orphanage in Aguascalientes. Our team was there to help in the construction of the new orphanage.  The girls spent the week sealing & waterproofing the concrete roof & painting, while the guys did trenching for drainage pipes & concrete work.

The evenings were spent playing & singing with the children at the existing orphanage. We also did a couple of outreach programs in some poor communities.

Although I had been to Mexico several times before, this was an eye-opening experience. The children were poor, & yet so rich in God's love.
